invited select fashionistas and bloggers to the trendy cafe, Bun Mee in the heart of the Fillmore for treats of all kinds. Guests were invited to snack and sip as LE TOTE
unveiled their own treats for the holiday season, including a sneak peak at holiday merchandise. This event is one of many the company plans on having to get better acquainted with the community and share their service.
Think Netflix for your closet. For only $49 a month, you receive a Tote with 3 different pieces of clothing and 2 pieces of jewelry.
Once you’re done with your TOTE, you can send it back and get your next one in a matter of just a day or two. You can go through many TOTES in one month and if you really can’t bear returning a certain piece, you have the option to buy your items. LE TOTE will only charge you once they receive your TOTE back and if an item is missing. Once you’re ready to sign up, you are given your very own LE TOTE stylist and a LE TOTE profile based likes and dislikes. The LE TOTE experience allows you to like things on the site to place in your closet or in queue as potential future pics. LE TOTE recently amped up their consumer experience and continues to seek out ways to make the process more efficient. For example, now you no longer can just “love” items to place in your closet, but you can now rate your Tote. LE TOTE is taking those extra steps to find out what best suits their clients, what styles are most fitting and relevant to them based on their personal tastes.
No need for an actual makeover…just one for your closet!

When I meditate on the word “couture” I envision a rustic, artist-filled Paris in the 20′s. I think of Coco Chanel working tirelessly with her team to create a custom tweed suit for a very special client. I think of families that share the secrets to their flawless handmade lace from generation to generation. I think of designers taking pride in their work, managing every single detail, overseeing all of the steps. I think of delicate fabrics, intricate designs, and hours upon hours of diligent work.
Now marry that concept with that of avant-garde design and you’re taking that one-of-a-kind eye for detail and those personal touches that couture is known for and applying them to designs that are modern, fresh, and boundary-pushing.
That my friends – Is a match made in heaven. Now take a look at some of the amazing pieces that were shown during San Francisco Fashion Week’s Couture & Avant-Garde showcase and see this magical combination come to life before your eyes!
